I’m Annie, a qualified integrative art psychotherapist and counsellor based in Bristol.
I work with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, relationship challenges and self-esteem.
My previous experience in Montessori education has helped shape my current approach by instilling key values of: respect, collaboration, empathy, and curiosity. I can work with you to tailor sessions, whether they be short or longer term, to ensure you get the most from our time together. I'll collaborate with you to reach your goals.
My integrative approach means that I have a wide range of theory to consider when thinking about your unique needs. Alongside this, we can use creative resources, such as visualisations and drawing to help you for which no experience is necessary.
I am a member of Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC), Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses the arts as its primary form of communication. We may use a range of arts, such as: drawing, poetry, song lyrics, visualisations, imagery in dreams as well as collage to further explore what is on your mind. No experience with the arts is necessary.
